A word that means, rising or ascension , that translates to a feeling of hope and optimism. It signifies the hope we have for our Youth, their power for positive change and elevation of the Deen! We are hopeful that our generation along with the guidance and wisdom of our elder generations emerge as a unified, kind and righteous people بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ.

I remember reading a touching article by a beautiful revert sister at our Institute where she wrote,

"How much Islam can we practice in seclusion?"

WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS, CONSTANTLY FORGETTING AND FALTERING....WHEN WE ARE IN THE COMPANY OF RIGHTEOUS FRIENDS, WE ARE ABLE ELEVATE LOWERED FAITH, REVEL IN THE JOY OF TOGETHERNESS, AND REVOLT IN THE FACE OF NEVER ENDING EVIL AROUND THE WORLD WE LIVE IN.

A righteous friend is like that of a musk seller, when in their company, you emerge with their fragrance right on you. Having good company at the time of our Youth is the greatest blessing for we are constantly motivated and inspired when we see the progress in each other's Emaan.

We here at Èlana Muslimah are a group of sisters striving under the leadership of our beloved ustadha, Sr. Ishraaq Hassan in our love and concern for the Youth in our Ummah.

With the fitnah and trials surrounding us, we endeavour to making a safe place for our young sisters to find companions in this world and ultimately, the Hereafter آمين! Sisters who can give hope, solace and exchange beneficial knowledge with each other. ❤️ We invite you our dear sisters in their teens and twenties to join us in the many meaningful conversations, formal and informal lessons we hope to have together! ان شاءالله
